Roasted Za’atar Chickpeas

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 Cup

      Chickpeas (cooked, rinsed-1, 15 oz can is roughly 1.5 cups)

    • 1 1/2 Tsp

      Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    • 1/4 Tsp

      Sea Salt (to taste)

    • 1 Tsp

      Za'atar Spice

    Directions

    • Preheat the oven to 400ºF (204ºC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    • Rinse chickpeas off and place on a paper towel to dry. Place a paper towel over the chickpeas and gently roll to help dry and remove skins. Continue to pat dry and pick out skins until well dried.

    • Transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.

    • Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, tossing halfway through, or until the chickpeas reach your desired crispiness.

    • Remove from oven and toss with oil Za’atar and salt. Let sit for 10 minutes until cool and enjoy!
