Ingredients

  • 2 lbs 2 Chicken Breasts

  • 1 cup 1 Orange juice

  • 1 1 Orange Zested

  • 3 Tbsp 3 Ginger, grated

  • 3 Cloves 3 Garlic, minced

  • 1 Tbsp 1 Rice vinegar

  • 1 Tsp 1 Sesame oil

  • 1/2 Tsp 1/2 Red pepper flakes

  • 2 Tbsp 2 Tomato paste

  • 1 Tbsp 1 Cornstarch

  • 2 Tbsp 2 Water

  • 2 2 Green onions

Directions

  • Add chicken to the slow cooker.
  • Whisk together orange juice, zest, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, vinegar, sesame oil, tomato paste, and red pepper flakes.
  • Pour sauce over chicken.
  • Cook- low 5-6 hours or high 3-4 hours until cooked to 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Remove chicken from the slow cooker. Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Stir into the sauce and cook on high for 10-15 minutes until thick.
  • Return chicken and coat in sauce. Garnish with green onions and orange slices, if you wish.
