Slow Cooker Orange Chicken

2 lbs 2 Chicken Breasts
1 cup 1 Orange juice
1 1 Orange Zested
3 Tbsp 3 Ginger, grated
3 Cloves 3 Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp 1 Rice vinegar
1 Tsp 1 Sesame oil
1/2 Tsp 1/2 Red pepper flakes
2 Tbsp 2 Tomato paste
1 Tbsp 1 Cornstarch
2 Tbsp 2 Water
2 2 Green onions
Directions
- Add chicken to the slow cooker.
- Whisk together orange juice, zest, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, vinegar, sesame oil, tomato paste, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour sauce over chicken.
- Cook- low 5-6 hours or high 3-4 hours until cooked to 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Remove chicken from the slow cooker. Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Stir into the sauce and cook on high for 10-15 minutes until thick.
- Return chicken and coat in sauce. Garnish with green onions and orange slices, if you wish.
